Hi. I am at present using Aquaguard enhance RO+ UV which is under breakdown. The service technician checked and stated that the Borewell water TDS is around 2800. Hence this machine will not work. Please suggest a model which can be used for Water TDS up to 3000ppm. Thanks

All well-known brands only use Food-Grade ABS plastic storage tanks. These are completely safe.
Never buy the Aquagard. Their post-sales service sucks. You have to pay above 25000 for a good model and the Water purifier stops working after a year. The customer service will force you to take AMC(another 6000) and never come to repair it. I have raised the complainant several times every time l get an answer the technician will visit but will never come until the next year’s AMC and the technician also will try to sell you AMC instead of working on the machine. If you don’t buy the AMC(another 6000) they won’t repair it. Very unprofessional and unorganized business.

Please don’t purchase the Eureka Forbes item. Service is very poor. My Aquaguard in AMC. 1st-time complaint resolution took 20 days, 2nd time 7 days, 3rd-time complaint pending from 11.04.2021. I am not aware when it will be resolved.
I had a very bad experience with Livpure Service. And service is the most important part of RO/water purifier, so I thought of sharing it with others hoping it will save them the harassment and frustration that I have faced.
I have Livepure RO and have additionally taken 3 years AMC for RO by paying Rs. 9000, but my experience with service has been extremely bad. It has been complete harassment as in the first place service engineers don’t come for several days. Then they insist on not changing any filters saying that there is no need to change. While Livpure website recommends changing membrane every 2 years and other filters in 6-8 months, but once you have AMC they will not change any even after 2 years. Once, after so much of discussion and arguments with Livpure’s local service agency, the engineer brought all old/used membrane/filters for changing during the service on 19th Feb 2021. When I caught this, he said somehow the old one has come, he will place an order for a new one and bring it later. This is the second time it has happened with Livpure that they tried to change with old filters. One year back they brought an old sediment filter after I insisted on changing the same. This spoils all the experience of owning otherwise hassle-free products. My request to Livpure is, kindly pay attention to what kind of harassment these local service agents are doing and advise them not to spoil the customer’s experience and image of a company for petty profits. You may sustain by pumping money in advertising for some time, but not forever. Long-term sustenance comes only with happy customers.
RO purifiers are very bad for health. Water still doesn’t have adequate minerals and trace minerals even after re-mineralization. The World Health Organization states that “possibly none of the commonly used ways of re-mineralization could be considered optimum since the water does not contain all of its beneficial components. In the case of borderline deficiency of a given element, even the relatively low intake of the element with drinking water may play a relevant protective role.”
It’s practically impossible to recreate natural water with all of its minerals and trace elements from reverse osmosis treated water.

If the TDS after the water has been treated with any of the above mentioned purifiers range below 100 then all of them are harmful for health. For the ones which has inbuilt TDS control, we need to check how do they do that, since adding minerals is unfortunately not possible for any purifier to do, hence, the only option I see here is with the RO+UF kind of gimmick machines. RO removes all you mineral from water and lower the TDS to somewhere ~50 and then the UF treated water is added to it, to raise the TDS to the desired 150+. Hence, a total wastage of money on buying the RO system. So as per my understanding, we should not be using an RO system if the TDS isn’t ranging above 1000, hence do you have any suggestions for a purifier which probably does an NF filtration with UV treatment for water with TDS between 500 to 1000 and keeps the TDS between 150 to 300 after treatment without mixing it with impure water?
