How Livpure Glo 7 Ltrs RO + UV + Mineralizer Water Purifier Works?

Livpure GLO uses an innovative 6-stage water purification process that ensures pure, tasty, and healthy drinking water. The various stages involved in this purification process are as follows:

1

Sediment Filter

In the first stage, tap water or bore well water is allowed to pass through the Sediment Filter in order to remove larger particles and impurities from the water. This stage ensures that the water is free of dirt. Please note sediment filter is not included in the package, you’ll have to buy it separately.
2

Pre-Activated Carbon Filter cum Absorber

This filter removes chlorine and organic impurities and pesticides. The absorber absorbs bad taste, color, and odor-causing organic compounds, which makes sure that the water becomes tasty, odorless, and drinkable every time.
3

RO Membrane

In the third stage, the water is passed through RO Membrane at high pressure in order to remove all the remaining harmful chemicals, pesticides, dissolved salts, heavy metals and hardness from the water.
4

UV Disinfection Column

In this stage, the UV disinfection column treats water by deactivating disease-causing microorganisms like bacteria, virus, and cysts with the help of ultraviolet radiations. This UV process makes the water biologically safe to drink.
5

Silver Impregnated Post-Carbon Filter

This filter enhances the quality and taste of the already purified water by removing volatile organic impurities.
6

Mineralizer

Finally, in the sixth stage, a mineralizer is used that ensures that the essential minerals in the water are retained by adding required minerals. It also balances the pH level.

Both Livpure Pep Pro Plus and Livpure Glo come with similar design and features. Livpure Pep Pro Plus offers RO+UV+UF purification and Livpure Glo comes with RO+UV+Mineraliser. Go for Livpure Glo, if the TDS of the water is below 900 ppm (because of the mineraliser feature, red more about mineraliser here) and choose Livpure Pep Pro Plus if the TDS is higher than 900 ppm.

  3. If i buy this filter online , then who is going to fix it in my home?
Where is the Livpure branch in Kolkata?
please call me and inform me.

    • Hi Vishal,

Free installation is provided by Livpure. Please call the Livpure customer support on 1800 419 9399 to know more about local details.

  4. In Andaman during rainy season we receive slight muddy water, will this purifier be suitable for us.?

  5. I want to buy

  6. What would be the maintenance charges annually if we use 30 Litres of water per day. We use borewell water.

    • Looking at your usage, ideally you should get the Sediment Filter and Carbon Filter replaced every year. If you are using the pre-sediment filter (the one outside your machine) then you should change it twice a year. The approximate cost for all these would be around Rs. 1,000 – Rs. 1,200. Apart from this RO membrane, post carbon filter and mineralizer need to be changed as and when required.

  7. Hi, can u suggest which brand/type of pre-filter should I buy. As this livepure glo doesn’t provide pre-filter.

  8. After a long research, I have selected livpure glo. This is best water purifier in India at affordable price.

    Thanks for the review guys.

  9. Hi, I bought the same purifier from their website, I did not get any discount however the water purifier is great.

  10. Very nice review. What is the ideal time to change the water filter in livpure glo 7 liters water purifier? And, how much it will cost?

    • Thanks for writing in. There is no ideal or standard time to replace the filters as it varies from case to case and depends on several factors like the quality of incoming water etc. However, you should ideally change your RO’s sediment filter and carbon filter at least once in a year. For the frequency of change for RO membrance, if you maintain the carbon and sediment filters properly, then the RO membrane needs replacement every two to three years.

There are various types and brands of filters available in the market and the prices vary accordingly. You can check the price online, in the market or call Livpure’s customer support for the prices.
